“Nice accommodation, good price. Always my pleasure!"
-Jim Korner, student

“A very nice, typical Swedish house. Very well equipped, modern, spacious. Lots of space all around, a campsite with a café and great nature. Highly recommended, especially for families."
-Stephan and family

“We got home safely this afternoon. We, with our five girls, like to think back to our peaceful time of almost seven days in the yellow house. You gave us a warm welcome and excellent service during our stay. Even if it rains a lot this summer, we experienced beautiful weather again shortly after each downpour. So we were not hindered whether we were hiking, playing pétanque, going to the nearby river, canoeing or just playing around the house. It was a very nice time for us with you, which we like to think back on and who knows, we might also like to come by again.
Thank you for everything"
-Tabea & Jacques and Co.

With this population, Sweden is one of the most sparsely populated countries in Europe.
With a population density of only 21 inhabitants per km² you still have air to breathe ... (for comparison: in Germany there are 229 inhabitants / km²)
Around 80% of Sweden's total area is covered by forests, mountains, lakes or rivers.
By the way: In the municipality of Torsby, where the holiday home is located, there are not even 7 inhabitants / km².

Värmland

is a landscape full of sights and almost untouched nature. Moose, wolves and bears live here, here you can hike, fish and explore the lakes by boat or canoe. There are also many folk festivals, auctions, markets and museums, such as at Selma Lagerlöf in nearby Mårbacka.

Stöllet

is a small town with approx. 245 inhabitants directly on the picturesque river Klarälven.

In its center there is a beautiful wooden clapboard church from 1763, in which there is a picture of St. Olaf. It is reminiscent of one of the most important pilgrim trails in the north, the "Pilgrimsleden" through the entire Klarälvtalleads to Trondheim in Norway. Right next door is the cemetery with its famous graves, some of which are 300 years old.
There is also a small Coop supermarket in town. There are also exciting hiking trails with spectacular views.
