Fireplace
The entire house is heated by a geothermal heat pump and also has various fireplace stoves and smoke detectors in the rooms. You can park your car directly at the house.
The house can also be inhabited very well in winter. Here in the Swedish Värmland near the Norwegian border you can still experience a real winter with dry cold and lots of snow!
Relax - discover - experience
In the spring, long walks in nature can begin right at the house, with the possibility of spotting moose or, with a lot of luck, a wolf or bear. In addition, courting and breeding cranes and Canada geese offer an impressive natural spectacle.
On the mild summer evenings you can enjoy the setting sun by the river, grill your own fish on the campfire or just let the great atmosphere and the tranquility of nature work its magic on you. Every now and then a pair of beavers that have settled nearby will stop by. And even when it rains you can sit outside on the covered veranda surrounded by nature.
There is direct access to the river, from which you can easily get into the water.
A rowboat or canoe is available for fishing and discovery tours on the river.
In late summer and autumn you will find an abundance of delicious blueberries and cranberries and various mushrooms on the walking paths in the immediate vicinity.
In winter, which is actually still a real winter here, with plenty of snow and dry cold, ice fishing on one of the many lakes offers a special experience, and when the snow cover is closed, you should definitely explore the impressive landscape in the area on cross-country skis or snowshoes. You will be thrilled!
